Booking a Rick Steve's Tour was the best decision we made! It was the perfect mother-daughter trip.

We are both planners, and it was so wonderful to feel that someone else was "in charge." That we could simply relax and enjoy Italy and each other.

That said it wasn't too organized or too big. Our group was small enough that it never felt like we were taking over an attraction or town. I'd never experienced a tour before, but I'd jump at the chance to do a Rick Steve's trip again.

The quick to access to all the must-sees and the excellent quality of all of our guides left us feeling sorry for anyone not on our tour!

All I can say is book it now; you will not regret it!

Day One of the official tour YEA! We get to meet our guide and new tour mates, let the adventure begin!

Off to the Vatican Museums Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica.

Day 3

ROME & VOLTERRA

Colosseum and Forum then of to the Tuscan countryside!

Day 4

VOLTERRA

All Day in the Hill Town of Volterra: Art, culture, and History!

Day 5

LUCCA & THE ITALIAN

RIVIERA

Exploring a beautiful walled city and then onto the Riviera.

Day 6

CINQUE TERRE

A day exploring the Cinque Terre or "Five Lands."

Day 7

FLORENCE

Exploring the Accademia Gallery

Day 8

FLORENCE

The Uffizi Gallery and exploring the city!

Day 9

FLORENCE

An extra day to learn to cook and Italian Feast
